That 2013 bass has yellowed beautifully! Just looked at your old post where you were trying to trade it in 2017. Was so white compared to now!

I have this ol '87 MIJ. I'll be honest, I'm a J fan...only reason I have it is because it only cost me $100 in a bundle deal. Its paid for itself in one gig!

Yes, someone installed a (split fret) midi kit on it in the 80's, yes it actually works.

You put Jazz ashtrays on a P bass and put pictures of it on Talkbass. That's a bold move. Not gonna lie, I died inside a bit

Here are my main 2 P basses. 1965 Olympic White and 1966 Sunburst. Both all original, down to the nut. The ‘66 sunburst weighs in extremely light at 8 lbs 2 oz, while the ‘65 Olympic white is at a medium weight of 8 lbs 10 oz. Both are incredible players. I’ve got them both strung with TI Flatwounds. I do not like one more than the other - the ‘66 us a bit hotter, the ‘65 a bit mellower -,I absolutely love these mid 60’s P’s!

My Fiver and a really great sounding P bass at that. I would love to find a pickup cover for this thing but not sure anyone makes them. Anyone know of pickup ashtrays being made for five string P's?

Yeah, the ‘65 has a really unique grain on the RW - a big part of my draw to the bass was its board. Pretty cool and unique in person for this era

I’m right there with you - Oly and aged is absolutely beautiful. I saw this one and just had to buy it - it’s also a phenomenal player. Very honored and lucky to own and play it

I think any light cream/faded desert sand looks better than any shade of white. I like those warm cappuccino shades like aged plastic.
