Nice T-bird collection, Vett-man! It reminds me of my bass cab collection!

And here's a shot of a rig for a largish outdoor gig (which must also be somewhat old, because that was back when I owned only six EA cabs - 18 and counting right now! ).

Yeah, you gotta love obsession.

I don't know of any Rich 'birds for sale, but I do know of a black Jackson for something like $1300. If you're interested, pm me and I'll get you the details.

$1300 yeow, That is a little steap for me right now. My wife is not working right now so it has put a major hold on my G.A.S... I didn't think jacksons cost that much.....Why did B.C Rick and Jackson stop making them?

I think I know the bass he is talking about. It's a killer instrument, and very well made. Instead of going for a "rip off" instrument, I think Jackson just tried to make a dang good bass that looks like a T-bird. If I hadn't just bought a Sadowsky, I would seriously consider that bass.

I've owned other birds but this one has been my favorite. Haven't gigged out with it in a long time but it will probably stay in my stable for the duration.

60's Gibsons were available in all sorts of custom colors (but I've never seen any definitive numbers on any). The 70's ones only officially came in natural, burst, black, and white. I say officially because I saw at least two cardinal ones back in the day that didn't look like refins (but you never know).

And here's a '67 also in kerry green that looks more blue than green:

Here's a cardinal red II that gives me wood every time I see it:

nice colors! Did the '64 owner on ebay list it as Kerry? That looks much more like Inverness Green Metallic.

My '66 II is original Frost Blue, and somewhat greened out now due to yellowing of the lacquer.

That seafoam is a refin. Most of the 'birds you see in custom colors are. Some in the 60's were ordered that way but AFAIK, regular production birds since '76 have only been in natural, burst, white, and black (and maybe a few in cardinal red in the 70's...

I dont really need another bass, cause this one covers all my needs but i do think im gonna buy a regular thunderbird and maybe an OLP MM5 sometime...but all thunderbirds rock!
