Show off your bass room

I have only 3 basses and 3 amps occupying the 3rd bedroom of our home. My room is far to humble to post any photo's. Especially with what I've seen in this thread!

Just thankful for what I do have though.

Ha, it’s all good!

I was “allotted” a 7’ single wall space (20” deep) for 30 years—‘if it didn’t fit, it ships’ scenario. Kids off to college, post-college career jobs out of state…no bass-space policy change.

Finally, on our son’s 30th birthday…I take over his room. Pretty sure (when visiting) he could’ve manage on my bass room futon (pic prev page) for the last few years, right?!

…not seriously complaining though, it’s ALL been good!

I'm down to 2 basses and 2 amps and stake claim to part of a wall in our finished basement. Down considerably from perhaps 12 or 13 basses and a half dozen amps a few years ago.

When I think of large, impressive gear collections, beyond this thread I always think of Tom's! Bowlus Bass Blog

Update: N-o-w I’ve completed my bass room/studio…it’s been a lengthy process. Installed a row of Dunlop strap-pins for my straps, and some 2” thick Acoustimac panels, too. Not a huge room (converted bedroom) but I worked really hard to scale things/maximize the space…

As we spend much of our time looking after my 98 yr old mother-in-law , I set up a little practice nook at her house. I’m not loud there , so I’ve been looking for the best tone through the smallest rig. I prefer components to combos.

How loud does that M200 get? I tried the TC BAM 200 and it just didn't quite have what I needed. But wondering if the Darkglass 200s pack a little more punch, as it were.

Wanted to keep a second turntable/stereo in my bass-room so I could bring chunks of my vinyl collection down for daytime listening while I work. That resulted in building a new cabinet for the records and then rearranging the space to accommodate. It's a lot of 'things', but they're all fun...

My music room is really just an area in our attic den.

The chair to the left is my Amish Murderer Chair; the round table near the right is a Gustav Stickley 604 tea/lamp table from around 1903-1904; the lamp sitting on it is a Bradley & Hubbard circa 1920; the Gustav Stickley 354 1/2 V-back armchair is from his 1905-1911 period.

For a couple of weeks last May I had a Jad Freer Sisma in house to try out.

The cabinets are my LDS 1106 that Don built for me in 2014.

The bass is my Martin Keith Elfin 5 that Martin made for me 2011.

There is a Markbass Minimark on top of the Rogersound Labs stand.
