This one worked its way back to me, sold it a few years ago. Picked it up cheap because a tech told the guy it needed all new valves. So I replaced the one dud valve and cleaned the sockets and it is good to go.

It's funny how a lot of amp techs don't really know what's what. I'm glad it came back to you, Fox!

Later cab, with later Fanes(one needing a new chrome-dome), non-original grill cloth. I love the 150, meaty sound, but the inherent hiss is a drag.

Does the Bass 150 have a passive preamp?

Have you had the amp checked out and it still hisses?

I'm checking one out this weekend, will be pairing it with a Bergantino NV412
