Did they ever make those in a 4 string? Did a search & came up with nothing.

Yeah, mine is what was originally called the Cirrus custom, then the tigereye, and later the features were available on all of the quilt top models.


Differences are ebony fingerboard, birdseye maple neck, quilt headstock overlay, Hipshot style A bridge, Hipshot ultralight tuners, walnut control cavity and truss rod covers, and hand turned walnut knobs.

A bad picture of my Palaedium:

Modified by replacing the stock Badass II bridge with a Smith IV, changing the hardware to black. The neck is no longer original either, but a replacement from another Palaedium.

NOS from Musician's Friend. Well built and plays like a million bucks and yields a convincing P tone. I'm considering swapping the P pickup with a Reverend one in a Franken-P that I have.

For all you USA Cirrus 6 owners, custom shop and otherwise, about what are they going for new these days?

Had a Cirrus 6 with a bubinga top when they first came out, sold it, and now I want a maple one through the custom shop! Just trying to get an idea. Thanks guys.

I love this USA Millennium V! I have terminal GAS, and I have to accept that I'll always be looking at another bass. That said, I cannot imagine a more versatile bass than my Millennium. A practice today, with both pickups on, I dialed down the midrange and nailed a great Jaco style tone. It also got a killer Jazz style slap tone too. I have to post my Foundation, it is one of the best sounding passive jazz style basses I have ever played. My other bass is a SR5 HH, my Peaveys hang with my Stingray in every way although both of them together bought used cost about a third of what I paid for my SR5 HH.

I've forgotten what year it is. Her name is Toot (named after Drawn Together toot). She plays VERY nicely, and these pictures were taken when I first got her. My head doesn't look like that, I had just woken up.

The paint is pretty much killed, but it doesn't matter. I will NEVER sell this bass, and it will never be refinished. It will always have a solid place in my heart.
