Wow,what a nice looking Cirrus.Hows the sound compared to other Cirrui you may have played? Did you custom order this one.

Actually it was a demo made for NAMM a couple of years ago. It sat in the store for most of that time so I picked it up for a really good deal. Soundwise it is nicer than the other Cirrii and closest to the mahoganey one - meaning that both have a nice warm woody tone. The cool thing about this one is that it has a HipShot Xtender on it. I really like that feature and use it more than I thought I would. We play a lot of songs that are easier for me to play in Drop D.

Why post love for Peavey? If there is too much love, then the prices go up. I totally dig that I can find a MIA bass for ~$200 that totally rocks! Oops... I just posted the love... :ninja:

Here is my current Peavey gear:
Peavey T40 ('79 T40)
Peavey Bassist preamp
Peavey Firebass 700 amp
Peavey 2x12 ('78 or '79 I think)
Peavey 2x10TX (Pimped... search for the "Pimped Peavey" post)

...and I just talked my brother into buying an '82 Peavey T60!

Ox.
