Show us your 3 pickup basses!

Just this one:

Awhile ago I posted one of my solid body Hadean bass ukes on which I added three pickup covers to look like it had three pickups when it actually had an under saddle piezo bridge pickup. I was using the fat poly strings, but recently decided to replace the wood bridge and piezo pickup with an all metal fully adjustable piezo bridge using flatwound strings, like I had done with a couple of other of my bass ukes. But those bridges only come in chrome and black, not gold, the motif I did for this one.

So knowing that I could find a regular gold bridge, I decided to replace the wood bridge, piezo pickup and electronics with 3 real magnetic pickups and pot system. The work was done by my go to guy, Eric's guitar in Van Nuys, CA, he does excellent work.

Piezo saddle pickup system with pickup covers:

Now that there’s a piezo on board it’s a legitimate triple so here’s a more complete photo set. The twin in some of the pics is the first Ptcoustic and it only has a P pickup. Thinking about adding a J and piezo to that one as well.

Hey everyone. I saw this Low End Lobster strat bass video and it got me thinking about three pickup basses. I've always liked the idea of a pickup right at the neck but know it would be kind of limiting and I wouldn't play it much. Adding one in the middle position adds a little versatility, but its still pretty bottom heavy. But, add a third at the bridge and now there are options!

I only found a few threads about three pickup basses, mostly about wiring questions, and am curious to see what is out there. So, show us your three pickup basses!! What do you like about them, what don't you like? Thanks!
