I was just cruising through looking at the pictures when I saw this. I think you should definitely get up and play, man. I'm not even Christian, but I think we all know how when you get into the groove it can be an extremely...'spiritual' feeling. I've never seen a Sadowsky first hand, only through the photos..
And don't remember seeing their action so low.
The lowest I've got any of my Jazz basses to was 1mm on the G string.
And like most basses, the action increases towards the lower strings.
And that was a rare thing. Even my Laklands are 1.5 - 2mm.
Yours seems like they're barely over the frets!
Were they detuned/lowered in the photos?
Or are all Sadowskys and Skjolds like that..
