I'm pleased to see so many fellow bassists play in church. My fretless IS the church bass. My Precision is too agressive and doesn't flow with the spirit.

Nothing can beat that warm, organic tone during a slow worship song. Nothing. Just speaking about my experience with bringing other basses to my church in the past, that is.

I've noticed a trend that a lot of natural color and five strings are being played in church....cool! :bassist:

I just gave up my 5 and moved to a four with the HipShot Xtender and that works really well. I will probably get another 5 but it will be either a USA Peavey Millennium or a Cirrus. I do admit it is nice to see the natural colours as well. One of my favourite finishes :)
