I got these 2 earlier this year; I've yet to use the Artcore in church yet, but it's only a matter of time, I'm sure. I'm really impressed with the ATK though.

The word politics can mean several things also.

If this is a free community, then why does one have to pay
to talk religion or polotics; or do members just pay their dues to pawn stuff that they no longer want?
Yes, I have been told that I was ONLY a registered user; I want name any names unless you want me to!
:hmm: I for one would be a gold member if it was not for the

This is not a "free community" in the sense that you can get away with saying whatever you want, hence the moderators. It is however a free community in the sense that you can sign up, open threads asking for information, or even offering your own, and buy goods from other bassists. The membership in my opinion is not only about being able to sell goods and form a rapport with others, but to support the costs of running this site. I could care less about the private forums.

As far as the condescending jerks that talk down to others as a result of their membership/post-count or lack thereof... just ignore them.

Guys, remember, the only purpose of this thread is to post basses you play in church! I just wanna see pics of your church basses. Just show the pics and comment, I'm not asking for your political alliance or social security number! Let's keep the pictures coming okay.......:smug:

I've played all my basses. The JO5 and the Warwick have been sold and the SR505 is on the block due to GAS.

I have a Fender V in Arctic White with Nordstrand NJ5Fs and a J-Retro that I've been playing the last two weeks (no pics yet), sometimes play my JO4 Nat/Maple, and I have a TTS/RW 55-02 that should be here tomorrow. I like to switch it up depending on the music, or sometimes my mood.

Whoa, is it mandatory for bass players to play in church? :)

I've been a member of various guitar message boards for years, and I don't remember anyone playing guitar in church. Should I join a church and play bass for them?

See, I'm learning stuff about this bass thingie. :D

+1, and I am not going to try to pretend that the poster has no clue to what was MEANT by the orignal poster of this thread. Flip it around, if someone posted a thread about what basses do you play at Satanic services, and someone posted a pic of a Warrior bass with Jesus inscribed on the neck, he would get flammed. :rollno: People kill me with trying to act as though they dont know what was IMPLIED by someone asking a question.

I LIKE gospel as much as the other "open-minded" people.
Also gospel singers can asually sing; unlike the 99.9% of the
bands on the radio today. I would buy a gospel ALBUM any day before I bought some non singing Nickelback album:D

I wasn't saying it wasn't about religion. I just don't appreciate it when we're talking about basses used in church and someone puts an obscene picture in their post. If people want to discuss religion I'm all for that!
