We've been having a bit of a falling out lately but now I think we've resolved our issues.

I had taken it to the Tombowlus Bass Borg, set up rather poorly (higher than useable action, a couple protruding frets). The high action was because of my tendency to adjust the nut up instead of tweaking the truss rod to deal with some fret buzz issues. This was primarily because I needed to remove the maple pickguard to properly access the truss rod, and the pickguard is fairly fragile.

I finally did it yesterday and rehearsed with it last night. I think I'll give it a good ride this coming Sunday. The Bongo will ride shotgun, just in case.

Christian is derived from Jesus Christ; If Christian and Jesus Christ is not a religion then I don't know what is!

I know Catholic is a religion!

I LIKE gospel as much as the other "open-minded" people.
Also gospel singers can asually sing; unlike the 99.9% of the
bands on the radio today. I would buy a gospel ALBUM any day before I bought some non singing Nickelback album:D

The extreme of any condition will produce signs of the opposite!

I only use one of the cabs for church, though. I'm pretty sure that I could take both cabs and leave my amp off and I would still get complaints that I'm too loud. :rolleyes: Oh well, I'm not up there to look cool.

I have the ashtray off right now, but I might be putting it back on now that it's no longer my main gigging bass. The ashtray got in my way too much when I was playing with a pick, but it's fine for fingers.

The word religion can mean several things. Most people, such as myself, think of religion as the ritual observence of faith (depends on your personal view whether this is positive or negative). But, it can also simply mean a body of beliefs. I think neither of those is really being discussed in this thread, so quit trolling.

I love it! I am fortunate to own several nice basses, but this one is in my top 2. If I were forced to own only one bass, I would be torn between my Nordstrand and my Zon.

Hopefully I will never be forced to make that decision!
