Those are Watts basses. Gary (the builder) is from the Portland area and has retired. It's too bad as the quality of his work is astonishing.

There are a couple of 6'ers that I'd buy from Rod in a heartbeat if he ever decides to sell them!

Gary helped me out when I was converting my BB5000A to a fretless with LP pickups. He didn't make too many basses before getting out of it. Looks like Rod has more of them than any one else.

It pays to praise judging by all these beautiful basses. My daughter sings so beautifully in church she brings tears to my eyes. One of these days I'll gather up enough confidence to play in front of the congregation.

here's my rotation: Sadowsky RV5, Sadowsky MV5, Limited Edition Stingray 5 (HS pickup configuration), Skjold Pro 6, and a Nordstrand NX6 (currently in progress - ETA about 2-3 weeks!!!)

plus a Dingwall Prima 5'er... no pic yet.

I'm blessed with gear if not necessarily talent...

incidentally, i got to take a solo during the tithes/offering last sunday. i played 'Jesus loves me'... you know - the song you used to sing in sunday school many moons ago. it was exciting man, i was nervous to begin with but then i just loosened up and i could feel the holy spirit working. it was a VERY powerful moment in my life.

I love my basses a lot but after reading this thread...wow There are a lot of great looking (and sounding) basses thumping for the Lord.
