I was at a big convention playing for Brian and met John and the rest of the guys in LMT, John was nice enough to let me funk around on his Brubaker for a bit...... man, you guys make some great basses! I'll definitely be stopping by at NAMM this Jan.

and hopefully in the new year we'll be on the road a bit more and in Toronto so I might get another chance to hear the fellas freak-out, Leroy is crazy!

John was from Niagara Falls! I was supposed to take lessons with him, but couldn't

That is a nice bass for sure! LMT just released their new CD "Color me Funky". Can't wait to get it! John can definitely play, and he is a great guy to talk to.

In that case...unique ain't enough of an excuse for it. Just the same, I'm wondering about the particulars. I've managed to miss it on eBay, probably because I'm usually searching something specific that would never give me a hit on this piece.

Played it at our worship event last night. I'm starting to get the hang of the whole fretless thing. I'm thinking about trying some black beauties on it to see how they sound.

We dont get many churches with music from a band as such, in the UK... so going to church I find a boring affair and stopped doing it, but would actively go if there was a good bad backing it.

I stand corrected. His did have the quilted top.

That is one sharp bass with killer electronics. It's very, very close to what I'd get from Nino if I was ordering one.

Actually, Valenti #15 is not quilted - it has a very nice flame maple top. I bought the bass from Poon a year ago, and I have the privilege of praising God quite often with it at church.
