I did, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. The pic doesn't do it justice. Amazing instrument. I am honored to own it.

I've played all these at church, but the Conklin GTBD7 is the one that has gotten 99% of the action since last November when I got it.

Dude, those basses are too nice!!! I'm really digging that Sadowsky but the KL is nice too.
Here's my bass that I play in church. I'm actually considering going to a passive Dingwall but I do like this bass.
I play through my PJB Sixpak combo and the only effect pedal I use is an EBS Valve Drive. No complaints with any of it.

Do you run the bass thru the house and use the PJB as a monitor or do you just use the PJB?
I have done both...depends on the setting. Our soundman (and backup drummer) is pretty good but we need to replace the soundboard as we're running out of channels. I usually run a cord from the PJB into the main and let the soundman regulate from the back of the house and then use the PJB as a bass monitor for the whole band. Kind of different but it works for us until we get more channels and better monitors. I tell you what...a PJB Sixpak makes a heck of a monitor! I just wish I could see it dance. 
Also, I just noticed that photo and the EQ settings...my girls like to mess up my EQ on purpose. I don't play like that!

Haha I was wondering about that... it was interesting to say the least
.Nothing like a LOT of low EQ boost! I think those settings with some gain would probably kill somebody.

two young blokes @ church play SG's...one plays a cream coloured, the other a black (looks like an Iommi, but isn't)...the kid with the black SG also has a Randy Rhoads Jackson that he's played before...I won't let him stand next to me when he's playing the RR (too POINTY!!!

OK - here is the family, the Sadowsky has been adopted and I'm waiting for an Alleva Coppolo KPB-5 in ice blue metallic with a rosewood board. I rotate through the basses (except for the fretless) and they all sound great!
