Man, the back of that bass is gorgeous (not that the front isn't either ;)). I think I'm going to start a "show the back of your bass" thread now....

Neck: Flamed maple, with ebony, wenge & bubinga stringers.

Body: Tasmanian Blackwood core with jarrah accent and camphorlarel top and back.

Headstock: dyed maple laminates with camporlarel front and back laminates (see pic).

Electronics: Alembic signature electronics and pickps.

Good eye.

It's pretty cool... it has the new prototype "fretted strings". Just pick a scale length and go;)

BTW I think he's almost got the new "Talent" module ready. Should be at NAMM.

Bass is holding up fine. Since I joined a new band, it's become my main gigging bass...tone suits this band perfectly as do the looks. Still didn't do anything re. refinishing it, been way too busy.
