No problem.

I actually got the idea after your previous post to print off some pictures of Jazz body blanks. I did a little cutting and pasting. You're right, you can't get the contour on the bottom to match. So we'd have to do a little filling and glueing and sculpting prep work.

Well worth the effort indeed.

that's awesome - it's like it was made for you. i got mine used in '92 (it's a 75) for $1400. totally got lucky.

you know, john hall told me, in a correspondence with him about my 4080 that i sent him in '94, that the "production run" of 4080's only numbered around 50 or so, and that the first one was geddy's black one, in '75. by his, and my, estimation, mine was probably the 3rd or 4th that they made. i feel really lucky to have found it.

$1,400.00 in '92 was a great deal!!

I was told that there are only about three like mine.

BIG Chris Squire fan here also, he changed my life around back in 1972. I have two 4001 CS basses, Carvin LB-76A, a Kramer Ferrington acoustic (sunburst) and we, Chris and I share (I think, Chris told me) the only two Electra MPC basses in white with gold hardware with the same switching configuration. I am currently looking for Eric Ranney to make me a 8 string but I am having trouble contacting him.
