I put the two unfinished bodies together (overlapped them) and for some reason the transition at the back tapered in the middle so another piece needed to be added to create the sloping look. Warmoth sells body blanks so I had to purchase it. There was a lot of waste in this build but the final results was well worth it. If you have access to a jazz bass just make a tracing of it times two then try to piece them together to get your desired results. I tried my best to find the images of the build but for some reason I lost them![]()

I actually got the idea after your previous post to print off some pictures of Jazz body blanks. I did a little cutting and pasting. You're right, you can't get the contour on the bottom to match. So we'd have to do a little filling and glueing and sculpting prep work.
Well worth the effort indeed.
