Oh, hey! How about a s

I thought I posted this, but I guess not. This is a custom 22" scale I had made in China for $289, but ya get what ya pay for, the pickup is messed up and the ground wire is wonky, also, the truss rod cover was supposed to match the body, but it looks like the builders young child hand painted it. I'm putting the fixes on hold until I save enough to replace my two Nikon D300s cameras with the new D500 model.

Totally forgot about this post I made in 2017. The bass was so bad, I gave it away. I then bought a Savannah Travel bass in 2018 and had Pat Wilkins paint it a variegated green, it came out great, but a little darker than I wanted. A few weeks ago I saw a post by a builder in Mexico, David Martinez, of a semi-hollow tenor ukulele, I asked him if could make that in a 23" scale bass, he said yes, $800 including shipping to Los Angeles. He sent me a line drawing which I used to make this mock up. At first it was going to be sunburst, but I have two other sunburst, so I decided on a lighter flame green than Pat did. It's in the works.
