Very nice. I had opted for the Deep 4 b/c I didn't want to deal with the 35" scale. With fretless, my muscle memory is pretty much set in stone with 34" scale. 
Finally received my Deep 5 (E2C)
And just when I thought I didn't "need" another bass.

At the time I didn't play fretless ... really wish it was fretless now, though it's still a very nice bass fretted too.
I hope you're going to post some clips of that Deep 5. I really want to hear that high C and how it matches up with the other strings. I used to string all my 5 stringers (E-C).
I had pondered a build like this but 33" scale when I had my MGS. I've since decided to have everything 34" scale and both of my 5s are E-C. The fretless is 24-fret equivalent and I really don't need to play that high with the C-string available down lower.

What do you mean "matches"?
When I get some time I'll post some sound files. It sounded fantastic through a Walkabout and a AE112.
I used to always string my 5's E-C and on some basses, the high C would sound thin compared to the other strings. It sometimes took some experimenting with different strings to get that high C to match the others in tone. I have a feeling the Labella tapewounds are going to sound good on the high C though.

How much of a difference does the tone control on the Deep5 make?
If the difference is noteworthy, do you know if Rob is willing to add it to models other than the Deep5?
