Good question, I don't know anything about it. I think Rob only made about 7 6 strings and I know of one other fretted. #177 sold here about 10-12 years ago with a maple top.

This one looks to have an ash body, a walnut or Koa top and a walnut or mahogony neck. The description was non existent and the photos aren't the greatest.

Absolutely. For reference, I've been on the hunt for something like this or a Martin Keith for some time. Sits right in the middle of these two

i just switched the fretted 6 over to TI jazz flats. I have a string draw filled with half used tape wounds. It was good with the black nylons, more expressive with the TIs so far.

Nice.

Someone on TB put BEAD TI flats on a Mouse and tuned them up to EADG. (Effectively tuned up 3 semitones, factoring I'm the 34" to 30" scale difference).

I tried one string, loved the tone, was worried about the higher tension for plucking hand feel/fatigue. The person that originally did it was a DB player so preferred the higher tension.

i posted a pic above of my Kinal fretless it a 32" scale fretless and I use standard TIs. Long scale strings and the tension is great.

You wouldn't want to play my basses then :D

EDIT: As I was sitting here, it dawned on me to try the Spriocore 1/4 double bass strings on the D4 like I have on the Blast Cult. That may happen before the RS88ELs go back on.
