One of my all time favorite basses (right after Hofner)! At one point, I had collected 11 vintage 'Stangs. The only one I have left is just like this one, but I don't have any photos. Munjibunga's will do nicely, thanks!

Lotta great basses here. Love the Sadowsky w/blocks and the Ric in particular.

I have a white (cream) Reverend Rumblefish that converts from JJ to PJ. Here it is as a JJ:

And the same bass as a PJ:

I like the look of the PJ better, but I have another Reverend PJ, so the white one is living as a JJ right now . . .

That's a genius idea, I had no idea they did that.

I have a Sadowsky PJ/JJ that's convertable as well. Like the Reverend, it came two pickguards and two sets of pickups, but since the pickup wires on the Sadowsky were terminated with quick connects, it can be changed over in a matter of 10 minutes, with no soldering needed. Changing over the Reverend requires a lot more time and a soldering iron.

It's cool to have convertable basses, but I've discovered that I tend to keep them one way or the other. The Sadowsky lives as a PJ, because I have a Will Lee (JJ), so there's not much point to changing it back and forth.

BTW, I LOVE Iotanet's NE2. What a great looking bass!
