Hey DBTOYS, how is that neck? Does the whachamacallit, the dark roasted neck add any stiffness as is advertised?

This was a MIM Fender Jazz, but I put a Leo Quan Badass II bridge on it, along with Bartolini Pups and finally a Warmoth fretless neck...Paduk for the neck wood and an Ebony Fingerboard. A friend of mine back in high school did the koi fish.

the coolest white bass I ever saw was a Wick Starr II V'r in a catalog once. trying to find the pic on-line to no avail . . . it just looked so immaculate.

Early White Spector Rebop. EMG-HZs and Aggie OBP-1 Pre eamp. Sounded great. Sold it to a buddy durring a "I don't like white basses phase." I still regret selling this one.
