Yes, but anyway, johnk is right. It is sad, because the S.A.D. 412 is a killer cab. I was just tired having to lug around that monster. The four 112s are much more practical and sound even better than the 412.

Here's an old sealed 1972 Marshall 412 w/ Rola Greenie Celestion G12Ms (GE T1511)
Not much of a cab. Rated 100w @ 4Ω. Running it with a 60w Sunn 200s and it doesn't cut it. Breaks up pretty quickly around "5". "7" is really pushing it.
...but it's an old school classic so I'll keep it -- hell, I never get rid of stuff. Bought it for$100. Works OK in bi-amp situations where it just handles high end.
If the speakers have their original Pulsonic cones, they're worth about $200 a piece alone, so I'd say you did very well. Plus it's just an awesome cab (more for guitar than bass, but all the same.
) oozing mojo.

My 70's Peavey 4X12 with Black Widows. It sounds like a monster with my 50 watt tube head. It weighs about 100 lb.

Your rigs give me a rush - I never new the sight of massive 12s could give me such a rush. I'm trying to bight the bullet and start with a 2x12 - hopefully I can eventually build up to one of these super powers!!! Nice guys!!
I see others posting their 2x 2x12 stacks, so I figured it's okay... I was planning on purchasing the 412 Neo until I realized the Columbus Day sale allowed me to go modular for about the same amount of money. I love 12 inch speakers so much!

I'm a long time believer in 4x10's, but I'd kill for a GK 4x12, Mesa 4x12, Aggie 4x12 or Berg 4x12!
I'm bringing home my latest edition tommorrow! A Traynor TC412.

I have the very same cab, not a high volume one but wow is it sweet, mine was made by Jim himself, with his signature in the base, that's got to make it sound better.
I notice yours has been rewired, they were originally wired to give 16 ohms.
