BTW, I had a chance to watch a bit of your interview on "The Lowdown Show; George Kitta". Very cool to hear you talk about your basses and some of the history of your music making. I knew most of your history in Chicago and your other bands from here at TB, but still a cool interview. Have to wait to hear the rest as I'm unable to listen to it while editing with VO. :woot:

Was enjoying seeing the heart shaped tuners on the first bass you showed.

That guard is special and the black & gold combo is nice. I’m at a loss on what the circle thingy is on the left horn.

So many cool things about that bass - it's a '60s Framus. The G-side piece of scratch-plate was cut off and a similar piece grafted on. I very much doubt that round microphone screen looking thing is original, whatever it does/represents.

:) Thanks so much - my graphic-designer friend Andrew recently helped update my site and he did such a great job! Yes, I felt good about that interview - Frank was so easy to have a conversation with because he was genuinely enthusiastic. It was during Covid lockdown, when this sort of thing (ZOOM) went mainstream. At that point Cherie hadn't re-started Bond Girl after a brief hiatus. We're back full-steam, I just returned from a rehearsal tonight learning/rehearsing new material. Enjoy the rest!

The website looks great. One of the first things I noticed.

I completed watching the rest of the interview last night and one of the cool things was how enthusiastic you were about your basses. Infectious!!!

:) Thanks for your kind words! Now if I could only figure out a way to 'infect' people to purchase my custom basses! ;) :)
