SHOW YOUR DISTRESSED FINISHES!

Well, I drew it up using the OEM neck plate and had it fabricated at a company I used to work for that had both a shop & materials. Then had them all anodized black. I made 6 for myself & sold about the same number around the globe.
Excellent! :cool: - I made my own (by hand) of aluminum sprayed matte black. For my Fenderbird I made it removable so the bass fits in its moulded HSC. I used Dunlop Stap-Loks to couple it - easy off, easy on.

Barely 'distressed' (small chip on the lower edge) but just wanted to show this iconic beauty - wish I could justify the cost which isn't bad for such a rare collectable. Many pics so adding the Reverb post here to see them all instead of posting them all here.

There are a lot of interesting things going on with that! It seems to have a plastic cover on the back of the neck.
