Oh, I was thinking about looking at some porn, but ran across this thread… soooo much better, haha.
Beautiful basses, y'all !!
Preferring Ps, I ran across a deal on this poorly setup MIM Jazz V, so I got it just to see what fivers were all about, and got stuck on fivers, so I’ve been gigging this for a while.
As per my guitarist’s suggestion (and offer to do all the work and set it up) I got a set of quarter pounders, and added a new set of DR nickel lowriders.
Oh… my… goodnesssss…

This is my Ibanez TR-500 which for all intents and purposes I use as a Jazz Bass. The whole active/passive switch kind of freaks me out so I just dial in and keep it set up like that for a few months. The Bartolini Pickups have something of a Jazz Bass single coil thing going for them, so I can't complain.
