The headstock doesn't say "Fender" because it's a Warmoth. The original fretted neck says "Fender" though.

It's actually the Squier VM series, but I thought why not post it anyway since I did the Fenders. I haven't had any trouble with it - and have played it quite a bit at practice. The only mod was having a new synthetic bone nut cut for it. The plastic ones that come on them are horrible. It now plays very nicely, and has a unique tone - very hot pickup.

I plan to keep one strung with flats and one with rounds. Apart from a FrankenJazz I own, I don't think I really need any other basses .

'82 P-Bass Elite II . . . neck is like butter! Note the vintage Peavey Series 300 head (which only gets used for practice).

'97 Fender Jazz V MIA w/ the pbass mod (highly recommended). You can see the back of my Carvin to the left of me. Oh, and that's one of my geeetarh players.
