NICE Randy! What are those basses called.^ I can search for them better if I know the name. Hardly ever see one for sale.

The are discontinued MIJ instruments named Precision A/E. There is also a piezo PU in the bridge. Some people love 'em, others not so much.
I had a A/E, the one I actually had turned up on ebay butchered like crazy. I didn't win the bid 
I am beyond envy. Really nice Basses and nice photography too. Here's my two I purchased new in the last year: MIA P and MIA fretless J with an Audere preamp.

Kind of a rare model that Fender produced in Japan 1989-90 before discontinuing the model. The A/E stands for acoustic electric. It is a semi-hollow bound thinline body in the exact footprint of a non-contoured (slab) pbass. These basses were equipped with a Lace Sensor P-style pickup, a piezo pickup and a preamp.
The bass ranges between the Lace Sensor P-style pickup punch, a growny piezo, and all points in between. I think it is a hoot to play. I love the ergonomics too. It has a comfortable Pbass footprint and is just a teeny bit lighter at 7.19 pounds.
Dude, you know the bass player's rule of thumb (all slapping aside): If you ever get a chance to show off your sweet axe, you take it! But clearly, I need to take more pix of mine, so I can mix it up from time to time.

What's the pickup inbetween the two J-pickups? Is that a humbucker?

Yep, it's a humbucker -- a Rickenbacker HB1. The other two are Dimarzio Model Js. Sounds great! The pickup combinations make the overall tone more "huge" than "subtle" though.
