Hootenanny original?View attachment 4508771 View attachment 4508816 Cool-- a chance to show off the new Spitfire faded orange tort. Thinking the original old white PG will be seeing a lot of case time.
Is it that heavy?
Jen, here’s a great tool to use for searching TalkbassGold hardware, let's see em!
It's a Chinese made bass uke 24" scale imported to the US by RondoMusic in New Hampshire they call Hadean. I had my luthier Eric's Guitar in Van Nuys, CA replace the bass uke piezo pickup and electronics with three magnetic pickups and pots, I also provided him with Gotoh tuners, Pyramid custom flatwound 24" scale strings, and narrow bridge. I added stick on gold fret markers that I matched on the leather strap, gold knobs and gold truss rod cover.Who made that teal bass?

That is the prettiest bongo I have ever seen.
I had the fretted version of this in high school. It was stolen. I really miss it.
Thornton, that color is bedazzling!
I did the same thing (sort of), with a Peavey Palaedium recently.I no longer own any instruments with gold hardware, but fwiw I used to own a fretless Peavey Unity bass that had gold hardware, and I sold it to a friend; the first thing he did was change all the gold hardware to black. When he showed me a picture of that bass with the new black hardware I told him "if I'd known that bass could be that beautiful I never would have sold it!"

Looks to be but I have no idea how I could be sure, since I have owned the bass for only a dozen years or so.Hootenanny original?
