My BHPD has laid dormant for over a year now, without any impulse purchases (at least bass related, I did buy a roadster
). I have come to an agreement with my other half, with which I agree (that's why it's an agreement!), which is that I have enough basses and that I must get rid of 1 before adding 1.
That brings me to my current GAS, upgrading my Jazz Bass. I have a Squier VM Jazz fretless (which is fine) and a Jack&Danny fretted that is not so fine. I have upgraded pickups, hardware, strings, setups and more, but I still can't get to like this bass. I can't pinpoint the issues that I don't like, I just cant seem to click with it like others that I own.
So, I want to upgrade and I really like the idea of a maple fingerboard to save me from CITES
No, seriously, I don't own a bass with a maple board and I think it's time I did!!
Please post your Jazz basses with maple boards to see what makes me drool!
