Thanks! The price of koa has shot up. There's a dinky J koa body for sale at Warmoth for $750. That's about 3 times what I paid for mine just a few years ago.

Oh, goody! This is a Sadowsky 25th Anniversary Modern 5-24.

WOW!!! THATS A SOLID BODY!!! $$$$$$$$
It has a set neck made entirely of Koa (minus fretboard) as well. My brother bought it new back around 85 or 86. It was very cheap because Carvin considered these single pup basses more of a "student" model.
