This is the double bass group, either this was intended by the starter of this thread, then some answers may be less interesting because of bass guitar only rigs, or the thread should have been posted in the bass guitar group.

Vunz, is that the Jam 150 powered cab? Are you happy with it? Do you find it to be loud enough for trio gigs?

Yes, it is a Schertler Jam 150 Extension. It is a great cab. The picture is taken at a gig with a quartet for appr. 200 people, without PA support. So yes, it definitely is loud enough for a trio.

Here's my love rig. The cab is an early 90s ampeg 6x10. The bass has been upgraded recently with some Seymour Duncan quarter pounders, and the new Omega (badass) bridge.

Forgive me if I've posted this before. There is a Felix on top of a Barefaced OneTen with two Puma 500s underneath. Channel one is from a mic and goes via one of the Pumas to a pole mounted speaker. Channel 2 is from a pickup and goes via the other Puma to the Barefaced. Amp sections only used.

Works very well. Felix is great.

I like how you use the Pumas in the rack as a stand to elevate the cab a bit.

Thanks. The cab needs to be elevated, the floor coupling makes too much bottom.
