I just picked up a Kustom 1-15 B cab at a pawn shop
auction for $39.55. It's loaded with a JBL D140F speaker.

I paid over three times your price to JohnK for a minty re-coned E130 and finally got it mounted this past week. It's been a few years since I've played with a JBL and I have a serious case of 'happy ears'...

Yeah I used own that same exact rig and it really does have that 70s grindy tone. Like that bass too
OK, I'll play. I built this bi-amped rig in the early 80s and I can't find anything I like better. I have another matching pair of cabs. 15s are K140 and D140F. In true Canadian fashion, the grille frames are made from hockey sticks.

This is my second JBL. The other is a 12 inch.

Are You sure that sun design is 36 in tall? I have a Dean Marley 2-15 (Very Similar design) (my Dean Markley is approx 39" tall rest is same exact dimensions (even baffle/vent-ports)This

This design came to me in the twilight of my sleep. I don not have any drawings of the cabinet, but I do have a memory of its construction. The cabinet's external dimensions are 24" wide, 36" tall and 15" deep. A 1/2" plywood liner was placed on the inside front edge of the cabinet to make it look "beefy". The port in the 2 X 15" cabinet was 5" high and ran the entire width of the cabinet. The horn baffle was formed out of two pieces of 1/2" plywood. The horizontal piece being about 3 to 3-1/2" in depth and the 45 degree angle piece being 9" long. On the dual 15" cabinet there were two baffle assemblies. The 1/2" plywood horn baffle pieces were glued into routed grooves in the sides of the cabinet. The single 15" was simply 1/2 of the dual 15" cabinet with the port at the bottom of the cabinet with a single horn baffle assembly. I could sketch it for you but no draw capabilities on this e-mail response mechanism. I would be more than happy to send you a sketch.
These were loaded with JBL 140's but you could use the same basic design and adjust cab sizes to match whatever speaker you want to use.

Looks Like Mine has EVL's But with the smaller Magnets (maybe Force 15's) have never tried it with bass, but it' worked good for guitar the few times I tried it

EV TL 606 with K140 and a TL-806 with a K-120 ?
