I love those :) The 408 is a great cab. Nice score getting two of those. Looks like the original Eminence drivers too.

Aren't those cabs 2 ohms? That would mean you can only run one of those off a 320 head. I think those 320's were rated 300 (real loud) watts @ 2 ohms.

yep, i've owned two mint 320's in the past. both of them were the newest incarnation, 300 watts at 2 ohms. the 220 is nice and pretty darn loud, but now i want to find another 320. :rollno:

no pic yet but i recently retro fitted a madison 2 15 cab with 2 ev 15b's and took out the horn. starting to really love it and it may replace my loved avatar 2/12 cab for med sized venues.

I'm honestly not sure. I haven't got inside of it yet. They're definitely 8 ohm speakers and according to the guy I bought it from it's an 8 ohm cab. Or so he thought.

2 x 8 ohm speakers wired series/parallel = 8 ohms correct?
I'm hoping it's 2 x 8 ohms wired parallel.

Also, I don't think I need 800 watts of power.

I'm still learning about proper speaker wiring.

they're usually 8 ohms each , and two of them in parallel=4 ohms which is perfect for an SVT or a Sunn head, so if they're up to spec, they should sound great. i have a Fender Gauss model 15B and it sounds like a cross between a JBL D130F and a D140.
