This Millenium is my "main" bass for my current rock/country band "Not Dead Yet". It gives a great "P" bass tone with the J pickup rolled off. I almost never use the J pickup at all. The Reverend pickup absolutely sings. The original pickup wasn't bad either.

I have one of those too - Have you had any problems with the truss rod rattling, or with the A string buzzing above the nut?

Nope, Bill. No problems... yet. I bought it under a year ago from an instrument dealer who was going out of business and it was new old stock, had never been sold. It took a setup after 20 years with no issues and is a nice, tight instrument. One of the best $100 I've ever spent.

I bought mine brand new in 1987 or 88, when I was a senior. I still have it, but it's showing it's age... A well-respected guitar tech tried to do a set up on it, and it's been screwed ever since.

I had to replace the tuners... I was tuning one night at practice and the peg on the E string tuning machine didn't tune. It just kind of twisted out. I replaced all 6 so they were all the same and also replaced those silly black rubber knobs with gold ones while I was at it.

Those minor issues aside, I love my Cirrus. Feels great, sounds great, gets LOTS of compliments!
