Heres my Pedaltrain :D

Your loop-master is awesome.:)

Thanks SnakeAnthony and JoshC :)

I like the PT Jr. I find its just the right size for me to fit a nice mix of effects without being too crazy and weighing heaps. It doesn't hold all my effects, so every now and then I get a bit creative and swap some things around. I sometimes think about getting a bigger board and putting some more of my effects on permanently, but I seem to always just stick with the Jr.

do you guys & grrls use the softcase? how is that bag working out? I have a pt2, and the bag just wasn´t made to hold the weight of a fully loaded pt2, it just broke.

I am thinking about switching to 2 softcase pt jr. (because I am runnging out of space, basically need one board on the floor & one on a table + want to get the thing on a plane as carry-on luggage), but will only consider this if the softcase is good.

Am curious about a similar thing. Used to have the PT2 in a soft case then always wished I'd bought the hardcase as I was gigging a lot. Now would like to get the PT Jr with 'possibly' the hardcase to keep everything safe.
Anyone had any experience carrying the PT Jr Hardcase around for any periods of time?

I can estimate how heavy it is from the 'weight' specs, but we know in reality, if something is a comfortable shape/size, the weight doesn't feel so bad.

Not really wanting to buy the SC version then wishing I took the Hard case option instead.

i got the hard case specifically because i needed to be able to fly with it. with all my pedals and all necessary cables/tools, i'd have to guess it's around 26-30lbs. for me, that's not a big deal. the longest i carry it around is waiting around at the airport to check it. for those busy new yorkers though, i can see how lugging it through the subway or something would be a pain

Bought the PT-Jr with the Hardcase then found it too heavy to carry around. Eventually got a softcase made by Studioslips to carry my board in.

How do you like the Studioslips product?
I just looked around on their site and looks like good stuff. Far better than the bag that came with the PT Jr. (wimpy non-padded shoulder strap and zippers that fail much too quickly). Did they include a shoulder strap with the bag?

Thanks!

Yep, liking it so far. Much better quality than the Pedaltrain bags. You can get them with single or double padding. Yes, they come with straps. The one thing I like is that Studioslips can make them to the exact specifications of the PT-Jr unlike the Pedaltrain bag where there is a couple of inches extra space.
