show your pickguard

i had an idea and sent a pickguard to my friend, who's an artist, and had her paint something on it. here's how it came out. i also have another clear pickguard that i'm getting airbrushed. i'll post that when it's done. maybe some other people have some custom type pickguards or unique things going on.

Ummm. Mine's a typical 3 layer black Stingray pickguard.

yeah, mine came with a 3 layered black too. i just didn't like the way it covered up the sunburst. that's why i got the clear one too. for the thumb rest i had someone make my initials in silver.

I made the pickguard and my son painted it. He paints RC car bodies so I turned him loose on this. It will work until my pearloid arrives.

Thanks!! I'll make another blank and have him really do it up on the next one. He did that one in about 2 minutes with simple sissor cut masks.

I was thinking about making a diamond plate control cover and a red pealoid pickguard for the black Bacchus. I thought that would look HOT on the black body.

I love the look of the clear pickguards on sunburst MMs. I saw a cherry sunburst with a clear that was absolutely stunning.
