Music Man Stingray Classic 4H Breast Cancer Awareness bass made for me by the Ernie Ball/Music Man company in 2010 after my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. The bass is used to help raise awareness and and raise funds for cancer research.

Do you mean black lights?

I've never seen blue lights that make things
Fluoresce.

It's a pearlescense thing. If you look at pearl white at the right angle you'll see a blue sheen. It doesn't glow, it reflects.

Apologies for the lousy pic, but I sold these 2 basses long ago & only had this one ancient pic to scan...
A pair of Jackson Custom Shop Concert Basses, built by Grover Jackson himself, with no magnetic pickups - only piezos - combined with custom Jackson preamps that basically sounded like a really good set of EMGs. The pink one was a killer - played & sounded great, and the girls loved it...

I never pass up an opportunity to post this old chestnut. Lakland JO5, East J-Retro.

Yep, that's just about perfect! Great shade of pink, maple board, white pearl guard and inlays (don't seem to see that too often on maple) and finished off nicely with the white binding.

All it needs to be perfect is one less string. Maybe short scale.

Why didn't she make it home?

All of our gear was strapped down to an air force pallet for transport back to the states. Somewhere on the trip home the pallet of gear was left out on an air strip in the rain. When we opened the cases everything was full of water or mold. The nice fuzzy orange inside of the fender case had turned green and there was actually mold growing on the bass itself.
