Show your PuPs!

Didn't find a thread for this, hope it isn't a duplicate...

Show your interesting use of spare pickups or basses with unique pickup configurations.

I have used spare pickups for various things. I didn't like the sound of my acoustic bass, so I made a sound hole pickup out of some 1/4" oak and an old MIM p-bass pickup and circuit. - will post the pic when I find it.

I also made a feedback-fighting stomp box from the concept of muting your strings with your left and thumping them close to the bridge with your right. The tape in the picks is just to hold the strings until the glue dried. When the box lid is closed, the pickup is directly underneath the string sections and you stomp on the box side the strings are glued to. It worked really well, but the cigar box was too fragile for realistic stomping.
