j-raj said:Cool, yeah someone here at work turned me on to them.
I just notice that blue foot Controller/pedal that is on top of Chris Wolstenholmes is just like the one that a cat I play with uses... It is called "Access Pass" or something like that... it is a loopers dream from what I remember. Anybody know more about them?
It the most adjustable effects processor i've ever used, it makes line 6's look like a joke. The amp models are really cool, the room models sound really good, and the copy effects are really nice, they make you sound the same as the song its titled after. Its a great solution for having maybe 10 pedals that you'd get each for 75 bucks or more. The only thing i wish it had is the diversity of reverb, plates, and chambers that a lexicon mpx-1 has. but thats solveable buy getting a mpx-1The Reff said:How is that MPX G2 working for you ???

What are those small red and blue boxes on the back? DI-boxes?
j-raj said:Nice rack AlembicPlayer, what do you think about the H&K redbox DI? Have you ever tried a Radial J48? If so, how does it compare... I'm about to pick up a new DI for some studio work coming up... Decisions.
AlembicPlayer said:Hi j-raj..thanks! The gear is old but it works
I have not tried the Radial..but have read nothing but good things about it. All the Radial products seem real nice. The H&K Redbox..funny thing about that box...the first one was given to me by a friend to use for one of the guitar players in the band. He liked it so much..he got his own, then I picked up a couple more off eBay for under 50 bucks each...never intending to use them with the bass..but one day I tried it and the cab simulation was really nice for the top end of my system, so I've been using it since. I'm sure there are better DI's for bass...but this works for me. For the money they are worth a try. If you get the Radial..post a review!

I just have a DBX 166xl in addition... and just a 6U rack.
All of my effects are in my pedal-case.
