Well, I just got my very first bass rig - and it fits the rule, so here it is:

This the current rig. I have an incoming new Rig when all the stuff comes in to the store. Will throw it up when it all gets here.

I don't think it's that everyone hates Ampeg. I think it has more to do with the sheer popularity of Ampeg, and some people get tired of hearing about "my new SVT" or "my vintage B15" after a while.

Most people probably gloss over the first few posts to get to the pictures and then post their own so they miss the "No Ampeg" portion of the OP. Ampegs are a known quantity so they tend to control a large portion of the market based in part on brand name recognition, so it's understandable when people desire to see something other than Ampeg.

Thanks to all that have blatantly ignored the Ampeg rule... I get it, you have an Ampeg, Im so sick of looking at Ampeg gear I could puke... I put the rule up there for a reason... Thanks to those who did read the post... Good lookin' NON-AMPEG GEAR you got

I'm probably as anti-ampeg as they come, but who cares? It's a forum. You didn't title the thread "POST YOUR NON-AMPEG GEAR!" The whole premise of this thread is ridiculous because you've made such a narrow set of credentials. How long until we get "Post your gear that was made on the west coast between 1983 and 1997 on the west facing wall in your practice room?"
