Well here's my Euro 5 LX!
Ritterbass, where did you get that Euro? I've always wanted a translucent blue 5 string with gold hardware. Do you have to special order that direct from Spector?

The imposter is a USA ARC-6 guitar. #19
Why do I have a Legend 6? I got it before Spector decided to make a Euro 6. The playability isn't as good as a Rebop. It's also has upgraded electronics to match what's in the Euro basses so the tone is killer.
Why do I have so many Euro's and not many USA's. I make more money than I used to and can afford some of the nicer gear now. I just got the 2 USA's this year. Also, I think the Euro's are the best value (bang vs. buck) and will continue to use those. The NS-6 is a great bass for recording. I've used it on a few sessions and people can't believe the raw tone that comes out of it.
The Black 6'er is a USA NS-6 XL (#25). But actually, it's black/green. Very hard to tell in the picture, when it's in the light or next to a bass that IS black you can tell. For some reason I can't find the picture I took of it next to my black Dean Rhapsody 12 that really shows the difference.
This is a bit premature, but, I will be getting another USA early next year. A custom JH-5. Exact specs aren't set in stone yet.

To answer your questin, well the bass is a 2005 model Euro 5 LX, blue burst, although comes of as translucent...Anyways I got it from a music store in ottawa called steve's music there are only 3 in canada(toronto, ottawa and montreal) and they are music superstores. They had several Euro 5LX models in the store at the time, the one i bought and the black cherry one. I just chose the blue one...It's just a standard Euro 5 LX and I replaced the black plastic knobs with gold dome top ones, which i felt would look better. Everything is stock aside from the knobs. There was no special ordering it was just at one of the stores at the time...And last i recall they had a Euro 5 LX exactly like mine and a Euro 6LX in natural or something.
I agree about the gold knobs on the Euro's. I put those on all of mine as well. It just completes the whole look.
Yeah I think the gold ones look better than the black plastic ones...I dont mind the USA knobs, for me, those look cool. For the Euro's it's all about the gold knobs.
i'm a more 'get a new bridge and tuners' kinda guy myself...i think black looks better
i have black on my usa 4, and i think black would look _hot_ on my spalt top 5 string

My Korean-made Spector, neck-thru, maple top, purchased directly from the manufacturer while stationed at Osan Air Base in South Korea.

Here's mine. Bought at Guitar Center in Oct 2004. I wasn't even in the market for a bass, and happened upon GC's moving sale. Got it for 500.
Can someone please tell me what is the string spacing on the Euro 6? Same as on the Euro five?
