Context...This guy visits shelters that euthanize dogs...it was this sweet girl's turn, and he snatched her away...pictures were taken as he loaded her up into the truck!

Update: my furry nephew Thor recuperating from a recent tussle with a feline. Won't be swinging any hammers or lightning bolts for a while. I told my sister that it looks like his right ear and nostril got larger to compensate. Good dog.
There's a chain of service stations here in the U.S. that's currently running a television commercial which highlights their charitable work of donating fuel to people and organizations who do a lot of driving in order to rescue dogs from shelters. Not exactly sure how the program works, but it sure helped to set the brand apart in my mind. Gasoline is gasoline...but I'd much rather buy mine from these guys than from the clowns across the street who dumped almost 5 million barrels of crude into the Gulf of Mexico.
Would you like to share what service station chain we will all be using in the future?

Mr. Sweets, our rescue dog. He is pretty awesome.
Hood River, OR looking north across The Columbia towards WA. Bridge on the north side is over the White Salmon River. Kona (aka K'Pup) swam for an hour and was still full of beans when we got home... After dinner he was basically a fluffy golden rug ;-)
