Might be posting pics of a new fur-baby today or tomorrow. Someone on our neighborhood NextDoor app posted that she had taken in a stray GSD pup that was roaming the neighborhood. She couldn't keep her at her house. Her 11-year old pit wasn't havin' it. And Animal Control told her they wouldn't have room to take her in for at least 48 hrs, so I picked her up and she's been hangin' out with Quincy since Saturday. No responses to the NextDoor and Craigslist notices I've posted. I'm gonna take her to Animal Control this afternoon and see if they can find a chip. If they do, we'll work to return her. If they don't, she's getting a name and a home.

That's awesome! Whatever happens, it's cool that you're involved helping connect a dog with another family or possilby your own.

Always tough, but a true proof of humanity.

It's that thing we all will go through when having pets, but it's a small price to pay considering the joy they give.

Winnie looks like Quincy's sister from another mister. Same forehead and muzzle markings.

Funny, first time I saw Quincy I had the same thoughts. Winnie is a rescue, long story, she was passed around several families over the coarse of a few months, she originally came from a breeder in Indiana, she is pure bred with papers, someone paid a lot of money, and was not able to take care of her. She is smart as can be, and a great personality. So depending on where Quincy came from they could be related, you never know.
