Otto and Sabrina have had the runs since Friday. Can't find anything in the yard that's making them sick. Think good thoughts for them.
I have 3 dogs. One is quite sensitive to food and treats, so I used to use him as my "canary in the coal mine" for food/treats for all three.

Until a tried a new brand of treats. Mr. I'm So Sensitive loved them. But they totally blew up the other two. Couldn't believe it. Wound up throwing out almost $30 worth of treats.

Did you change ANYTHING in their diets? Hope you get them regular again soon.

I was lucky that I'd sold my home and the buyers were replacing the carpet. All I'm gonna say.

Thanks for the good thoughts.
No changes in their diet. Big dog is seeming better. Ironically we can't get a stool sample from him now. He's big on "need just the RIGHT place to poop".
Current theory is that they were eating some potting soil from the deck plants (they were) and that's what did it. Could not find anything stinky or toxic-seeming in the yard. Admittedly, it's a big, forested "yard" (though fenced) so I can't be 100% sure.
Little dog is still at the vet. They kept her overnight. She's OK but needed fluids and more care.

Vet needed a urine sample so I Macgyvered a remote collection ladle for my dog. I ain't getting bit for trying to help that dude, so keeping 5 feet distance eliminates that option. I get cranky when I'm sick too so I can forgive the little bastard for being bitey. Maybe you could collect the uncontaminated sample you need at a distance like this.

He's a lucky boy,
Loki loves it when he gets to go! ....doesn't care even if he has to wait in the car while I run into somewhere real quick.
Always meets new friends on every trip into Lowes or Home Depot.
Tonk has seen something like 700,000 miles its funny every bridge we go over he ducks , we could be driving and before we go by a place we have stopped at in the past, sometimes he will start yelling at me that we need to stop.

Yep, I know the feeling. Car, boat, or airplane, "Lucky Dog" just loves to travel and gets so excited when we tell him he is going with us.
