His brother Comet had to stay home. Because he may jump out of the canoe at a moments notice to check something out. On the other hand, Cosmo was pretty much frozen in place when in the canoe for fear of the unknown.
My doggo getting his first taste of the beach this week. To say he likes it is an understatement. Took these about 30 minutes ago.
I was at a crawfish boil last weekend and someone showed up with this adorable ball of floof. His name was Bill Murray and he is a Burnese mountain dog puppy. They hoping he doesn't get much bigger than 150 lbs.
Thats princess Leia in the background. My buddy bred his lab and had her. She is adorable too and guarding the crawfish table.

The only way to end unethical breeders is to not give them money.

Unfortunately that lesson is often learned only after having purchased from them.
True that. I didn't know until afterward or I would have been able to do something, legally speaking, to end this guy's BS.
The dog breeder thing is tricky, many of my Pitbull rescue friends would never buy any dog from any breeder, and neither would I.
While I agree with them that there are tons of healthy well bred dogs in shelters waiting to be released from prison...
if all breeders stopped breeding dogs permanently, eventually many breeds would die out.
There should be stricter standards for breeders and enforcement should be stepped up a lot.
I also wish that there was less of an appetite for breeds that are inherently unhealthy by design.
I know breeding super duper weird dogs because they amuse us is popular, but I wish humans had more consideration/respect for the life they are creating when we make dogs that we know full well have a lot of health issues.
