I'm not sure I can say that I like him, but he seems a kind person. I definitely don't trust people that don't like animals in general. Especially people that feel the need to tell everybody that.
My dogs don't like uniforms.

31 years ago my (now) wife was much more concerned about meeting and being accepted by my dogs than by my parents. For good reasons. She passed the test.
Years before that I "got" a pretty girlfriend by letting Bianca, her Great Pyrenees, cuddle me and loving her back. Girl said "I love that you didn't say "get this drooling monster away from me!"
I loved that dog. Missed her more than the girl when we split up.
I learned to never trust a person if my dog did not like them. They seem to have a good sense of good vs bad. Once had a substitute drummer stand in at a few practices at my house. My dog, who was normally very friendly, did not want anything to do with him and even growled at him. Turns out the guy was a thief and took smaller things of value from the house when no one was looking. Just sayin.
