Major does love the screen - be it a phone, iPad, computer or television....He's ON IT!
So when we have all 3 grandpups on Lake Superior at the family cabin, I've found a day playing in the water is a great way to wind them down for a relaxing early evening.
Mr. Sweets. He loves my wife the best, but does love me too.

Mr. Sweets holds dominion over Marlaland (everywhere except the basement). Will Feral coexists with me in Johnlandia (the basement). Johnlandia is an independent state within Marlaland, but there are continuing border disputes.
This past weekend, with temps near 115°, even the dog knows there's only one way to beat the heat.
Our 3-month old beagle ate the stuffing out of a plush toy. We thought we got it all. We didn't.
He had to have surgery, opened his stomach and intestine. It was an overnight $tay. This is one traumatized beagle.
Oh, he's fine now. Running and playing with big brother like nothing ever happened.
But I won't be buying that new bass I had my eye on.

No temperature shift here in Italy, we're melting since may. Luckily high temperatures don't bother me that much, but it's hard to breathe sometimes. Air seems thick, almost liquid. Plus, the constant horrible smell of fire mixed with wxhaust pipe smell. What a nice city, eh?A dog cooling his jets in Brest, France. I've lived and worked all over the world. One overriding truth that I discovered is that no place is perfect.
As we say in English "when in Rome, do as the Romans do."
What I discovered during the last years is that this city literaly burns during the summer. You can't go anywhere without seeying some fire, most of them are malicious. It's becoming uncontrollable, and really dangerous for the people.
