Maxwell.

Got him out of the pound as a two year old in January 2021

He's like a badly behaved teenager you can't help but love...:D

Favorite food: chicken necks/mince and porridge, or tuna/mackerel/sardines and rice. He also loves peanut butter on toast.

That is the best description of my relationship with my dogs that I’ve seen to date.

Patti in her heavy jacket--it's fancy (the brand is called Canada Pooch, a clear play on the super-pricey human jacket company :D), but it does cover all of her long body and keep her warm when the temps drop into the 30s or lower.

We've also had some really nice days where the highs have hit the 60s or even the 70s, too. We get her outside for extended stretches when possible.

the above reminded me of when i first put booties and a jacket on my other dogs. sophie looks as if she feels betrayed, poopily-do looks disgusted with me for it. hahaha

Haha, poor pups. Patti is fine with jackets, but she will NOT put up with the booties we got for her, at least so far. Which is too bad, because her paws do get quite cold. Luckily, we haven't had any snow or ice.

I have struggled to find good jackets and harnesses for my 3 puppers. My Chihuahua has backed out of his harness a couple of times the last few days. I loosen their harnesses and put them on over their sweaters. Even with the harness as tight as possible, the give on the sweater is just too much. My Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound has also backed out of his harness more than once.

I just spent a bunch of time on the Canada Pooch website. I'll be buying 3 Harness Puffer jackets for chilly/cold walks (the harness is built-in, so I don't have to put their regular harness over it!) and 3 Complete Control Harnesses for warmer weather walks. Expensive, but then you usually get what you pay for. Thank you SO much for sharing this brand!
