Tonight we had to say goodbye to Sabrina. She was 16 years old. Her kidneys had finally shut down. She lived a few months longer than her bloodwork said she should have...
She was my first and only small dog (as an adult). When we got her she was terrified of the world, but grew to become a Real Dog with a tremendous zest for life. She went through the world kind of cheerfully oblivious, and I think that served her through her illness - she didn't really notice how sick she was until the end. She was a Good Girl.
It hasn't been an easy start to the year, and losing Pythagoras and Sabrina less than 2 weeks apart. Our vet thought that losing her pal Py might have been the thing that broke her heart and took her down.

Sabrina, may the bacon be plentiful and the cushions soft where you are now. You were and are loved.

So sorry for your loss. What a cutie. You’ve had a tough month, Kess. You’ve lost two loved ones in a month. (RIP Py) My sincere condolences. However, they have now been immortalized here on TB. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Animal abuse. Just my opinion.
Personally I wouldn't say that without knowing the circumstances. If the dog isn't trying to get the stuff off or otherwise acting unhappy, and isn't getting too hot, it could be fine. Our dog would never want that much on, but dogs sure do differ on some things.
