Show Your Spoiled Dog Pictures.

This is my little Bennie (lost him last year RIP Bennie)....he was a great little Parsons Jack Russell, was spoiled but had a really complex personality. But I bonded with him, because I realized his personality was very much like my own. He was fairly young in this picture, was fast as hell, he'd outrun larger faster dogs often somehow. I can see some of Sparky, my poodle/Jack Russell cross, in Bennie's eyes. Very expressive. He uses them to communicate with me. He's got an atomic clock in his head, keeping time better than I do. When it's time for something (walk, treat, meal, attention) he'll come and stare at me. Then we play 20 questions. When I ask the "right" question, he blinks at me with his left eye. He's 15 now, still sprightly and energetic, eating, drinking, peeing and pooping like he was a kiddo. But I still dread the day that will eventually arrive.

I am happy for the time you had with Bennie, and share your grief at his crossing of the rainbow bridge. RIP, Bennie. You were, and are, loved.

Thank you for the kind words, it's funny you mention your dog's eyes....that was what I loved about Bennie. His eyes had like a natural black eyeliner around them and were shaped like almonds. Glad you still have Sparky, hopefully he'll be around a long time, and more importantly feel good. Unfortunately Bennie had cancer throughout his body and only made it to 10 1/2. Thanks again!
